How To Make a The Quad Plane

Intro : The Quad Plane

The Quad Plane dosn't really Fly it just looks cool. But sometimes ehen you toss it lightly it lands vertically. You Can use a paper as long as its a scale version of a regular peice of printer paper, 8cm. 1/2. by 11in.(20 1/2cm. by 26 1/2cm.) Or you can use any square paper but you can't do all of the add-ons.

First Step : The first folds

First fold the top edge along the right edge unfold and fold the top edge along the left edge unfold again. You should end up with a perfect cross and 2 1/2in.(6 1/2 cm.) left underneath, fold this under the cross. you should have a perfect square with a cross in it.

Step 2 : Double Crossing

Next flip the paper over and fold the cross in half vertically and horizontally.

Step 3 : Double Decker

Fold the right side of the horizontal fold to the vertical fold and the left side of the horizontal fold to the vertical fold, you should have a square piece of paper that measures 4in. (10cm.) If you used printer paper you should also have small triangles underneath the bottom wings, fold these over the wings.

Step 4 : Double Decker

Push the folded edge of the square you made earlier down to the vertical fold, make sure you crease the new wings.

Step 5 : Final Shape

Fold the plane in half along the vertical fold, Fold he wings down two to a side. Perk the top wings up a little and the bottom wings down.

Step 6 : Add-Ons

1. With the top wings you can push the folded edge to the top of the fuselage.
3. If you did 2 you can fold the top edge out, there should be a 2 3/10 cm. gap between the lip and the new fold.
P.S. Do all of these to both sides

Step 7 : Add-Ons

2. If you used printer paper you can fold the triangles on top of the bottom wings like an accordion, the top edge should be between 1.5 cm. and 2cm. and the bottom edge should be 1cm. fold about 3/10cm. of the triangle over itself, this should create a little lip.

Step 8 : Add-Ons

3. If you did 2 you can fold the top edge out, there should be a 2 3/10 cm. gap between the lip and the new fold.

Last Step : Finished
